For teaching staff: drafting newsletters
For support staff, this day will be an opportunity to look back on the year 2024-2025 through exchanges and activities on the following subjects: pedagogical days, the PDS network, the various training courses offered, the welcome and support program, and the review of annual development plans.
In addition, support staff will participate in training on the characteristics of diverse student profiles and on effective intervention strategies for dealing with them. Time will be set aside to develop annual development plans for 2025-2026, designed to continue supporting professional and personal development.

Together, we'll explore the history, meaning and traditions of this important day. This time will allow families to better understand and celebrate the richness of Aboriginal cultures in Canada, while exchanging ideas for integrating this learning at home with their children. How does our hand move? What roles do bones, tendons and joints play? To find out, join us for this interactive workshop where children aged 9 to 12 can build their own articulated hand and gain a fun, hands-on understanding of how hand movements work. An activity that combines science, creativity and fine motor skills!

1 sheet of 60-80 lb paper (thicker than printer paper)
1 pair of scissors
5 paper or plastic drinking straws
2 m of string (must be fine enough to pass through the straw without difficulty)
hot glue or scotch tape
1 pencil
twist tie or other flexible metal rod (optional but useful)
